Please bring your studio shoes*. street shoes are not acceptable at the event.
*studio shoes - a pair of shoes which you never wore on the street before.

Breakdance Instructor: John Bendezu
John Bendezu (aka GRIMMJOHN)
has been Break dancing (BBOY) since 1997.  The basis of his training has been from Open jam events, battling, tournaments and street dancing. He has been teaching this form of dance underground since 2000 and a hand full of his students are now dance instructors in CT and NY.

John has also setup BBOY/BGIRL open jam session every Tuesday and Thursday's at Real Art Ways (2008) He was recognized for bringing awareness about the BBOY community by the The Hartford Courant (Hartford Art Scene) in 2008. John currently teaches children from 2nd to 8th grade at Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts in Hartford, CT launching his professional career in dancing.

Dance is the hidden language of the soul and anyone can learn.

Breakdance Instructor: Erick Gonzalez
Erick Gonzalez
(aka BBOY Ecco) has been dancing for 6 years. Born and raised in Connecticut, Erick teaches Break Dance at Kinsella Magnet School for the Performing Arts. I love teaching children, because they full of energy and ready to learn....ranging from open ciphers, battles and recreational dancing. "I just love expressing myself thru dance!! Breakdance Instructor: Ernesto Matias
Ernesto Matias (aka BBOY Hadji ) is a self-taught b-boy/break dancer and has been dancing since 2002.  Ernesto has acquired his skills from open cyphers, battles, b-boy sessions, and street dancing.  He also teaches breakdancing at Kinsella Magnet School for Performing Arts. “B-Boying is my passion and being able to share my knowledge of the dance is truly a blessing.  So please come join and let us show you the way of the b-boy/b-girl . ”Hadji-

Sundays 4:00-5:30 pm
90 min. class drop in - $15.00
90 min class 11 class card - $150.00
