A native of Havana, Cuba Mr. Garcia began his training with the
Ballet School of Camaguey. Graduating with honors, both as a Dancer and Professor, Mr. Garcia went on too join Ballet
de Camaguey; artistically directed by Fernando Alonso. Among Mr. Garcia’s company credits include Albrecht
in "Giselle", Collin in "Fille mal Gardee", Siegfried in "Swan Lake", "Corsaire",
"Coppelia", "Don Quixote", & "Diana and Acteon".
Among Mr. Garcia?fs professional
credits include Compania Nacional de Danza & Taller Choreografico de la UNAM, The Washington Ballet (Washington, DC),
Dance Theatre of Harlem & Ballet NY.
Mr. Garcia’s performance credits include several
ballets which have been created especially for Mr. Garcia under the artistic direction of the beloved Maestra Gloria Contreas,
Brooklyn Ballet, Balanchine?fs works; "Who Cares?", Violin Concerto", "Four Temperaments", &
"Agon", under the direct supervision of Mr. Arthur Mitchell.
Mr. Garcia has received many National and International prizes, and at present,
performs as
a Guest Artist around the world.
