Originally from Binghamton, NY, Ms. Fernandez has studied with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, received full scholarship
and performed with The Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Vail, Colorado. In addition Ms. Fernandez also studies acting at the Lee
Strasburg Institute and voice at The Julliard School Evening Division.
At age 13, together with her mother Bonnie Fernandez, Ms. Fernandez co-founded The Carousel Cities
Youth Ballet; providing thousands of area children with lessons and performance opportunities at no cost.
Ms. Fernandez has staged numerous full length ballets including
The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and Don Quixote. At age 17 her original ballet "Inspiration
of the Dance", premiered at Carnegie Hall. This performance was a culmination of a summer intensive program with The
Carousel Cities Youth Ballet students, giving them the opportunity to dance and study in New York City. This performance also
marked the beginning of The New American youth Ballet.

part of a featured segment on Hartcourt Brace literary Dance Dream Educational Video.
